Stat. tit. 45, § 45-852","heading":"Governor as ex officio member","body":"The Governor shall be, ex officio, this state's member of the\n\nInterstate Mining Compact as established by Article V of the\n\nCompact. Provided, that whenever the Governor shall deem it\n\nadvisable to do so, he may appoint an alternate to serve in his\n\nstead and thereafter such alternate shall serve at the pleasure of\n\nthe Governor.
