An autocycle is any motor vehicle having:\n\n1. A seat or saddle for the use of each rider;\n\n2. Three wheels in contact with the ground, but excluding a\n\ntractor;\n\n3. A combustion engine or an electric motor:\n\na. if the power source is a combustion engine, an engine\n\nwith a piston or rotor displacement of one hundred\n\nfifty cubic centimeters (150 cc) or greater, or\n\nb. if the power source is an electric motor, a power\n\nsource capable of producing one thousand (1,000) watts\n\nor greater;\n\n4. For each occupant, safety belts or safety shoulder harnesses\n\nwhich shall be of a type and shall be installed pursuant to 49\n\nC.F.R., Section 571.208 et seq.; and\n\n5. All equipment required by the provisions of Article II et\n\nseq. of Chapter 12 of this title, with respect to equipment on\n\nvehicles.\n\nB. An autocycle shall be registered as a motor vehicle.\n\nC.
