The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting\n\nin the death of any person shall immediately stop such vehicle at\n\nthe scene of such accident or as close thereto as possible but shall\n\nthen forthwith return to and in every event shall remain at the\n\nscene of the accident until he has fulfilled the requirements of\n\nSection 10-104 of this title. Every such stop shall be made without\n\nobstructing traffic more than is necessary.\n\nB. Any person willfully, maliciously, or feloniously failing to\n\nstop to avoid detection or prosecution, or to comply with said\n\nrequirements under such circumstances, shall upon conviction be\n\nguilty of a Class B4 felony offense punishable by imprisonment for\n\nnot less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years, or by a\n\nfine of not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) nor more than\n\nTen Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), or by both such fine and\n\nimprisonment.\n\nC.
