Stat. tit. 47, § 47-10-106","heading":"Duty upon striking fixtures upon a highway","body":"The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting only\n\nin damage to fixtures, fences, or other property legally upon or\n\nadjacent to a highway shall take reasonable steps to locate and\n\nnotify the owner or person in charge of such property of such fact\n\nand of the driver's name and address and of the registration number\n\nof the vehicle being driven and shall upon request exhibit a driver\n\nlicense and security verification form, as defined in Section 7-600\n\nof this title, and shall make report of such accident when and as\n\nrequired in Section 10-108 of this title.\n\nAny person failing to stop or comply with said requirements\n\nunder such circumstances shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than\n\none (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
