An authorized insurer that writes motor vehicle liability\n\ninsurance in this state may exclude any and all coverage and the\n\nduty to defend or indemnify for any claim afforded under a shared\n\nvehicle owner's motor vehicle liability insurance policy including,\n\nbut not limited to:\n\n1. Liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage;\n\n2. Personal injury protection coverage;\n\n3. Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage;\n\n4. Medical payments coverage;\n\n5. Comprehensive physical damage coverage; and\n\n6. Collision physical damage coverage.\n\nB. Nothing in the Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing Program Act shall\n\ninvalidate or limit an exclusion contained in a motor vehicle\n\nliability insurance policy including any insurance policy in use or\n\napproved for use, that excludes coverage for motor vehicles made\n\navailable for rent, sharing, hire or for any business use.\n\nC. Nothing in the Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing Program Act\n\ninvalidates, limits or restricts an insurer's ability under existing\n\nlaw to underwrite any insurance policy.
