Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-1006","heading":"Parking of vehicles on posted private property -","body":"Penalty - Liability of land owner.\n\n(a) It shall be unlawful to place or park a motor vehicle or a\n\ntrailer upon the posted private property of another, without first\n\nobtaining permission from the landowner or the person in charge of\n\nsuch property, except where said placing or parking is casual or\n\ninvoluntary.\n\n(b) Violation of the terms of this section shall be considered\n\nto be a misdemeanor and upon conviction violators shall be fined not\n\nto exceed Twenty Dollars ($20.00) and, in addition thereto, shall\n\npay any and all reasonable and necessary charges incurred by the\n\nlandowner or other person in having any vehicle or trailer removed\n\nfrom his property and stored.\n\n(c) The landowner or person in charge of the land shall not be\n\nliable for any damages which may occur to a trespassing vehicle or\n\ntrailer under the terms of this section, while the same is\n\ntrespassing or while it is being removed from his property, or while\n\nit is in storage.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9a83ef77b0dd00e441350510a6128b1e1b273299fba0c161bd5f2e35b6d6b152","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-1005","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-1007"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
