Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-304","heading":"When overtaking on the right is permitted","body":"(a) The driver of a vehicle may overtake and pass upon the right\n\nof another vehicle only under the following conditions:\n\n1. When the vehicle overtaken is making or about to make a left\n\nturn;\n\n2. Upon a street or highway with unobstructed pavement not\n\noccupied by parked vehicles of sufficient width for two or more\n\nlines of moving vehicles in each direction;\n\n3. Upon a one-way street, or upon any roadway on which traffic\n\nis restricted to one direction of movement, where the roadway is\n\nfree from obstructions and of sufficient width for two or more lines\n\nof moving vehicles.\n\n(b) The driver of a vehicle may overtake and pass another\n\nvehicle upon the right only under conditions permitting such\n\nmovement in safety.
