Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-307","heading":"No-passing zones","body":"(a) The Oklahoma Department of Highways or other designated\n\nauthorities are hereby authorized to determine those portions of any\n\nhighway where overtaking and passing or driving to the left of the\n\nroadway would be especially hazardous and may by appropriate signs\n\nor markings on the roadway indicate the beginning and end of such\n\nzones and when such signs or markings are in place and clearly\n\nvisible to an ordinarily observant person every driver of a vehicle\n\nshall obey the directions thereof.\n\n(b) Where signs or markings are in place to define a no-passing\n\nzone as set forth in paragraph (a) no driver shall at any time drive\n\nto the left side of the roadway within such no-passing zone or on\n\nthe left side of any pavement striping designed to mark such no-\n\npassing zone throughout its length.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"03356aab7792f9f266484ae1a1cad3896077caf7cf33b0be16babe37627a5a89","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-306","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
