Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-311","heading":"Driving on divided highways","body":"Whenever any highway has been divided into two or more roadways\n\nby leaving an intervening space or by a physical barrier or clearly\n\nindicated dividing section so constructed as to impede vehicular\n\ntraffic, every vehicle shall be driven only upon the right-hand\n\nroadway unless directed or permitted to use another roadway by\n\nofficial traffic control devices or peace officers. No vehicle\n\nshall be driven over, across or within any such dividing space,\n\nbarrier or section, except through a permanent opening in the\n\ndividing space, barrier or section or at a permanent cross-over or\n\nintersection as established unless specifically prohibited by public\n\nauthority.
