Preferential right-of-way at an intersection may be\n\nindicated by stop signs or yield signs as authorized in Section 15-\n\n108 of this title.\n\nB. Except when directed to proceed by a police officer or\n\ntraffic control signal, every driver of a vehicle approaching a stop\n\nintersection indicated by a stop sign shall stop as required by\n\nsubsection (d) of Section 11-703 of this title and after having\n\nstopped shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle which has\n\nentered the intersection from another highway or which is\n\napproaching so closely on said highway as to constitute an immediate\n\nhazard, but said driver having so yielded may proceed and the\n\ndrivers of all other vehicles approaching the intersection shall\n\nyield the right-of-way to the vehicle so proceeding.\n\nC. The driver of a vehicle approaching a yield sign shall in\n\nobedience to such sign slow down to a speed reasonable for the\n\nexisting conditions, or shall stop if necessary as provided in\n\nsubsection (e) of Section 11-703 of this title, and shall yield the\n\nright-of-way to any pedestrian legally crossing the roadway on which\n\nthe driver is driving, and to any vehicle in the intersection or\n\napproaching on another highway so closely as to constitute an\n\nimmediate hazard. Said driver having so yielded may proceed and the\n\ndrivers of all other vehicles approaching the intersection shall\n\nyield to the vehicle so proceeding, provided, however, that if such\n\ndriver is involved in a collision with a pedestrian in a crosswalk\n\nor vehicle in the intersection after driving past a yield sign\n\nwithout stopping, such collision shall be deemed prima facie\n\nevidence of the driver’s failure to yield right-of-way.\n\nD. Where two or more vehicles face stop, slow, warning or\n\ncaution signs or signals on two or more intersecting cross streets,\n\nand are approaching so as to enter the intersection at the same\n\ntime, where each vehicle is required to stop, the vehicle coming\n\nfrom the right shall have the right-of-way. Where each vehicle is\n\nrequired to slow, the vehicle coming from the right shall have the\n\nright-of-way. Where each vehicle is required to take caution, the\n\nvehicle coming from the right shall have the right-of-way. Where\n\none vehicle is required to stop and the other to slow or take\n\ncaution, the one slowing or taking caution shall have the right-of-\n\nway. Where one vehicle is required to slow and the other to take\n\ncaution, the one required to take caution shall have the right-of-\n\nway.
