Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-405","heading":"Operation of vehicles on approach of authorized","body":"emergency vehicles.\n\nA. Upon the immediate approach of an authorized emergency\n\nvehicle making use of audible and visual signals meeting the\n\nrequirements of Section 12-218 of this act, or of a police vehicle\n\nproperly and lawfully making use of an audible signal or red\n\nflashing lights, the driver of every other vehicle shall yield the\n\nright-of-way and shall immediately drive to a position parallel to,\n\nand as close as possible to, the right-hand edge or curb of the\n\nroadway clear of any intersection and shall stop and remain in such\n\nposition until the authorized emergency vehicle has passed, except\n\nwhen otherwise directed by a police officer.\n\nB.
