Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-506","heading":"Pedestrians on roadways or bridges","body":"\n\n(a) Where sidewalks are provided, it shall be unlawful for any\n\npedestrian to walk along and upon an adjacent roadway.\n\n(b) Where sidewalks are not provided, any pedestrian walking\n\nalong and upon a highway shall, when practicable, walk only on the\n\nleft side of the roadway or its shoulder facing traffic which may\n\napproach from the opposite direction and shall yield to approaching\n\nvehicles.\n\n(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon any\n\nportion of a bridge for the purpose of diving or jumping therefrom\n\ninto a lake, river or stream for recreation, and it shall be\n\nunlawful for a pedestrian to use a bridge where sidewalks are not\n\nprovided for the purpose of standing or sightseeing.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f8c645ed91fb2dca9e02b5b1fe884142bffb697782330a0c6cd8d35d98cb4cdf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-505","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-507"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
