Stat. tit. 47, § 47-11-804","heading":"Minimum speed regulation","body":"(a) No person shall drive a motor vehicle at such a slow speed\n\nas to impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic except\n\nwhen reduced speed is necessary for safe operation or in compliance\n\nwith law.\n\n(b) Whenever the State Highway Commission or local authorities\n\nwithin their respective jurisdictions determine on the basis of an\n\nengineering and traffic investigation that slow speeds on any part\n\nof a highway consistently impede the normal and reasonable movement\n\nof traffic, the Commission or such local authority may determine and\n\ndeclare a minimum speed limit below which no person shall drive a\n\nvehicle except when necessary for safe operation or in compliance\n\nwith law.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"65501b6289351e08c469cd94a2ffb82d9c22efc26ec13dbbc742cb714cabba48","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-803","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-11-805"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
