Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1105.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"In addition to the terms defined by the Oklahoma Vehicle License\n\nand Registration Act, for the purposes of Sections 1 and 2 of this\n\nact:\n\n1. \"Completed vehicle\" means a multi-stage vehicle that does\n\nnot require any additional manufacturing operations to perform its\n\nintended functions, except addition of readily attachable components\n\nor minor finishing operations;\n\n2. \"Final-stage manufacturer\" means a person who performs\n\nmanufacturing operations on an incomplete vehicle so that it becomes\n\na completed vehicle;\n\n3. \"First-stage manufacturer\" means a person who initially\n\nmanufactures an incomplete vehicle;\n\n4. \"Incomplete vehicle\" means an assemblage of power train,\n\nsteering system, and braking system to the extent that those systems\n\nare to be a part of the completed vehicle and that requires\n\nadditional manufacturing operations, except addition of readily\n\nattachable components or minor finishing operation, to become a\n\ncompleted vehicle;\n\n5. \"Minor finishing operations\" includes painting,\n\nupholstering, or other cosmetic modifications;\n\n6. \"Multi-stage vehicle\" means a vehicle that requires\n\nmanufacturing operations, performed by separate manufacturers, to\n\nproduce a completed vehicle;\n\n7. \"Multi-stage manufacturer\" means a person who performs\n\nmanufacturing operations on an incomplete vehicle;\n\n8. \"Readily attachable components\" includes any mirror, extra\n\nlight, or tire and rim assembly; and\n\n9. \"Vehicle identification number\" or \"VIN\" means the number\n\nassigned to the vehicle by the first-stage manufacturer.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"46a44c5e70847387b463046cebf4957c3ec0e6b642d5a9f1affe0135ad167152","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1105","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1105.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
