Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1105.5","heading":"Background checks","body":"The Oklahoma Tax Commission and Service Oklahoma shall be\n\nauthorized to require employees of the Commission and Service\n\nOklahoma in positions that have access to sensitive law enforcement\n\ndata to supply all information and documentation required in order\n\nto be subjected to a criminal history search by the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation, as well as be fingerprinted for submission\n\nof the fingerprints through the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a national\n\ncriminal history check. The Commission and Service Oklahoma shall\n\nbe the recipients of the results of the record check.\n\nNo employee of the Commission or Service Oklahoma shall be\n\neligible to enroll in the Oklahoma Law Enforcement\n\nTelecommunications System training course until the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have\n\nreported to the Commission and Service Oklahoma that the person has\n\nno felony record and the Commission and Service Oklahoma have\n\nreported to the Department of Public Safety that the applicant does\n\nnot have a felony record and is not participating in a deferred\n\nsentence or deferred prosecution agreement for a felony. In\n\naccordance with Section 150.9 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes,\n\nthis includes a national criminal history record with a fingerprint\n\nanalysis.\n\nThe Commission and Service Oklahoma shall request searches of\n\nthe online and off-line files of the National Crime Information\n\nCenter (NCIC), or any successor federal agency which supplies such\n\ninformation, to identify vehicles which have been reported stolen.\n\nSuch searches will be requested only by Commission and Service\n\nOklahoma employees who have satisfied the background check\n\nprovisions of this section.\n\nThe Commission and Service Oklahoma are authorized to promulgate\n\nrules necessary to implement the provisions of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6fdbbaaade20bf885acd76d86336a025984e959b7745f40ea0349918d722de9e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1105.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1105a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
