Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1112","heading":"Application for registration - Information required -","body":"False statements.\n\nA. Every owner of a vehicle possessing a certificate of title\n\nshall, before using the same in this state, make an application for\n\nthe registration of such vehicle with a licensed operator. The\n\napplication shall contain such information as shall be required by\n\nService Oklahoma. Every owner, when making application for\n\nregistration, shall furnish the following information:\n\n1. A full description of the vehicle including the make, model,\n\ncolor, manufacturer's serial or other identification number, any\n\nsecurity interest upon the vehicle, an odometer reading of the\n\nvehicle when applicable, and the insurance security verification to\n\nthe vehicle;\n\n2. The correct name and address, the name of the city, county\n\nand state in which the person in whose name the vehicle is to be\n\nregistered resides, the driver license number of the owner if the\n\nowner has a driver license or the Federal Employers Identification\n\nNumber of the owner if such owner is not an individual, and such\n\nother information as may be prescribed by Service Oklahoma; and\n\n3. a. The name of the carrier of the owner's insurance\n\npolicy for such vehicle,\n\nb. The policy number of the owner's policy for such\n\nvehicle, if available, or the name of the agent or\n\noffice where the existence of security may be\n\nverified, if other than the carrier,\n\nc. The effective dates of the owner's policy for such\n\nvehicle, and\n\nd. A statement of the existence of a nonuse affidavit if\n\nfiled by the vehicle owner pursuant to the provisions\n\nof Section 7-607 of this title.\n\nB. Any owner or lessee of a noncommercial vehicle possessing a\n\ncertificate of title may, at the time of initial application for\n\nregistration or application for renewal, inform Service Oklahoma\n\nthat the owner, lessee or someone who may be operating the vehicle\n\nis deaf, hard-of-hearing, autistic or suffers from Apraxia or a\n\ncommunication disorder. That information, if provided, shall be\n\navailable to law enforcement through Service Oklahoma's vehicle\n\nregistration system to assist law enforcement in identifying the\n\noperator of the vehicle as possibly being deaf, hard-of-hearing,\n\nautistic or suffering from Apraxia or a communication disorder. As\n\nused in this section, \"communication disorder\" is defined as\n\nimpairment in the ability to receive, send, process and comprehend\n\nconcepts or verbal, nonverbal and graphic symbol systems.\n\nC. In every case where a vehicle has been registered upon an\n\napplication containing any false statement of a fact required in\n\nthis section to be shown in an application for the registration\n\nthereof, Service Oklahoma shall give written notice of at least five\n\n(5) days to the owner of the vehicle, and shall require the owner to\n\nappear before it for the purpose of showing cause why the\n\nregistration should not be canceled. Unless satisfactory\n\nexplanation is given by the owner concerning such false statement,\n\nService Oklahoma shall cancel the registration. The owner of the\n\nvehicle shall then be required to immediately reregister the vehicle\n\nand pay the required fees. The owner shall not be entitled to\n\nrefund or credit for the fees paid for registration of the motor\n\nvehicle made under the application which contained any false\n\nstatement of fact.\n\nD.
