As used in this section \"vintage vehicle\" means a passenger\n\nautomobile or truck having no more than two axles and for which no\n\nOklahoma certificate of title exists in the records of Service\n\nOklahoma prior to January 1, 1980, and which has not been registered\n\nin the records of Service Oklahoma or any other state for a period\n\nof fifteen (15) or more years prior to the date as of which the\n\napplication for the certificate of title is made.\n\nB. A person or other legal entity may register a vintage\n\nvehicle and obtain an Oklahoma certificate of title for the vehicle\n\nupon payment of a fee of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) and\n\nproviding a verified statement, under oath, submitted to Service\n\nOklahoma with the following information:\n\n1. The name of the person or other legal entity to which the\n\ncertificate of title will be issued;\n\n2. The personal or business address at which the vehicle will\n\nbe located when not in use on the roads and highways of the state;\n\n3. The manufacturer of the vehicle whether or not the\n\nmanufacturer is still conducting business;\n\n4. The model of the vehicle using either the designation\n\nprovided by the original manufacturer or an equivalent designation;\n\n5. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) if the vehicle had a\n\nVIN at the time of its original manufacture;\n\n6. The price at which the vintage vehicle was acquired by the\n\nperson or other legal entity making application for a vintage\n\nvehicle title; and\n\n7. A statement that the vehicle is not currently subject to the\n\nlien of any person or other legal entity for the purchase price of\n\nthe vehicle, for expenses associated with repair or refurbishment of\n\nthe vehicle, storage charges or any other purpose.\n\nC. The fee prescribed by subsection B of this section shall be\n\nnonrefundable even if Service Oklahoma denies the issuance of a\n\ncertificate of title for the vintage vehicle for any reason.\n\nD. Upon review of the information contained in the application\n\nfor a certificate of title, Service Oklahoma shall determine whether\n\nor not the title may be issued.\n\nE. If a vintage vehicle certificate of title is issued, the\n\nperson or other legal entity making application shall make payment\n\nof the motor vehicle excise tax required by Section 2103 of Title 68\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes and the applicable rate of sales tax\n\nimposed pursuant to Section 1354 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.\n\nF.
