Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1114","heading":"Lost, mutilated or destroyed license plate or decal -","body":"Replacement - Prohibition of issuance.\n\nIn the event of loss, mutilation, or destruction of a license\n\nplate or decal, the owner of such registered vehicle shall file an\n\naffidavit showing such fact and obtain another plate or decal.\n\nProvided, that Service Oklahoma shall have the authority to prohibit\n\nthe issuance of any replacement plate or decal if the license plate\n\nwas seized pursuant to subparagraph b of paragraph 1 of subsection A\n\nof Section 7-606 of this title for failure to comply with the\n\nCompulsory Insurance Law until the owner or operator of the vehicle\n\nfrom which the license plate was seized complies with division (2)\n\nof subparagraph b of paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 7-606 of\n\nthis title.
