Twelve registration periods shall be established for\n\nvehicles required to be registered on a staggered basis. The\n\nregistration periods shall start on the first day of each calendar\n\nmonth and shall end on the last day of that month. Unless otherwise\n\nprovided, all such vehicles where the date of execution of transfer\n\nof ownership occurs in this state at any time during a calendar\n\nmonth shall be subject to registration and payment of the fee for\n\nthe registration period commencing the first day of the month of\n\nsuch date of execution of transfer.\n\nB. 1. A person who registers more than one vehicle may have\n\nall of such vehicles initially registered at the same time or at\n\nseparate times. Any person who obtains a vehicle may, upon\n\nregistration, have the registration period adjusted to allow future\n\nregistration of all such vehicles at the same period or at a\n\ndifferent period.\n\n2. Upon the payment of a five-dollar one-time convenience fee,\n\nany two or more noncommercial vehicles owned by the same person and\n\npreviously registered in this state may be registered at the same\n\ntime regardless of the month or months in which the vehicles were\n\npreviously registered. The month in which the noncommercial\n\nvehicles are newly registered shall be the month in which the\n\nregistration is renewed annually. If a noncommercial vehicle is\n\nregistered pursuant to this subsection in the same calendar year in\n\nwhich it was previously registered, license and registration fees\n\nshall be prorated to account for the difference between the previous\n\nrenewal month and the new renewal month and those fees shall be due\n\nat the time of registration pursuant to this subsection. Of the\n\nmonies collected pursuant to the convenience fee created by this\n\nparagraph, Two Dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) shall be deposited to\n\nthe credit of the Oklahoma Tax Commission Fund created pursuant to\n\nSection 221 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes and Two Dollars and\n\nfifty cents ($2.50) shall be retained by the motor license agent.\n\nC. If a special or personalized license plate is issued\n\npursuant to Sections 1135.1 through 1135.7 of this title, any\n\nregistration fee required for such plate and the fee required\n\npursuant to subsection A of Section 1132 of this title shall be\n\nremitted at the same time and subject to a single registration\n\nperiod. The Oklahoma Tax Commission shall promulgate rules\n\nestablishing a method for making required fee adjustments when a\n\nspecial or personalized license plate is obtained during a twelve-\n\nmonth period for which a registration fee has already been remitted\n\npursuant to this subsection.
