Twelve registration periods shall be established for\n\nvehicles required to be registered on a staggered basis. The\n\nregistration periods shall start on the first day of each calendar\n\nmonth and shall end on the last day of that month. Unless otherwise\n\nprovided, all such vehicles where the date of execution of transfer\n\nof ownership occurs in this state at any time during a calendar\n\nmonth shall be subject to registration and payment of the fee for\n\nthe registration period commencing the first day of the month of\n\nsuch date of execution of transfer.\n\nB. A person who registers more than one vehicle may have all of\n\nsuch vehicles initially registered at the same time or at separate\n\ntimes. Any person who obtains a vehicle may, upon registration,\n\nhave the registration period adjusted to allow future registration\n\nof all such vehicles at the same period or at a different period.\n\nC. On and after January 1, 2022, if a physically disabled\n\nlicense plate is issued pursuant to paragraph 3 of subsection B of\n\nSection 1135.1 of this title for a vehicle which is subject to the\n\nrequirements of Section 1132 of this title, the registration periods\n\nfor the vehicle may be combined into a single registration period.\n\nService Oklahoma shall determine, by rule, a method for adjusting\n\nthe twelve-month period.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6d94fa591071310b715dd4ac2bf2d917159333429d00c2afe995aa7d14366bd9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1116v2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1117"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
