There shall be a credit allowed with respect to the fee for\n\nregistration of a vehicle which is a replacement for a vehicle which\n\nwas destroyed by a tornado and which was registered pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of Section 1132 of this title on the date of destruction.\n\nFor the purposes of this section, \"tornado\" means a tornado which\n\noccurred in calendar year 2013 or any subsequent tornado for which a\n\nPresidential Major Disaster Declaration was issued. The credit\n\nshall be a prorated amount based on the fee paid for the\n\nregistration of the destroyed vehicle for the period of registration\n\nremaining as of the date of destruction, and shall be applied to the\n\nregistration fee for the replacement vehicle pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of Section 1132 of this title. In no event will the\n\ncredit be refunded.\n\nB. There shall be a credit allowed with respect to the fee for\n\nregistration of a vehicle which is a replacement for a vehicle which\n\nwas destroyed by a tornado in calendar year 2012 or calendar year\n\n2013 for which a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration was not\n\nissued, and which was registered pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSection 1132 of this title on the date of destruction.
