Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1133.2","heading":"Commercial vehicles - Display of registrant's name -","body":"Violations - Nonresident vehicles.\n\nA. Every commercial motor vehicle, whether private, contract or\n\nfor hire:\n\n1. Of twenty-six thousand one (26,001) pounds or greater\n\nweight;\n\n2. Designed to transport more than eight (8) passengers,\n\nincluding the driver, for compensation;\n\n3. Designed to transport more than fifteen (15) passengers,\n\nincluding the driver, not for compensation; or\n\n4. Transporting hazardous materials in a quantity requiring\n\nplacarding in accordance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Part\n\n172, Subpart F,\n\nshall display the name of the vehicle registrant on each side of the\n\nvehicle in two-inch letters or greater which shall be legible from a\n\ndistance of fifty (50) feet. The city or town serving as the\n\nregistrant's principal place of business or postal address shall be\n\ndisplayed in two-inch letters or greater on each side of the vehicle\n\nadjacent to the registrant's name. Provided however, if the motor\n\ncarrier holds a valid United States Department of Transportation\n\nnumber, whether for interstate or solely intrastate purposes, the\n\nmotor carrier's markings shall be in compliance with 49 CFR 390.21.\n\nB. Those not complying with the provisions of this section\n\nshall be assessed a fine of not less than One Hundred Dollars\n\n($100.00). Such penalty shall not exceed the amount established by\n\nthe Corporation Commission pursuant to the provisions of Section\n\n1166 et seq. of this title. Revenue from such fines shall be\n\napportioned as provided in Section 1166 et seq. of this title. Any\n\nperson in violation of the provisions of this section may be cited\n\nby the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Corporation Commission, or any\n\ncounty sheriff or municipal law enforcement officer. Any fines\n\ncollected by a county sheriff or municipal law enforcement officer\n\nshall be deposited in the respective county or municipal treasury.\n\nC. After a fine has been assessed pursuant to the provisions of\n\nsubsection B of this section, the offender shall have ten (10) days\n\nto display the name of the registrant on the vehicle as provided in\n\nsubsection A of this section.\n\nD.
