Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1134.1","heading":"Taxicabs, privately owned school buses, intercity and","body":"intracity motorbuses - License fee.\n\nThe following license fees shall be paid annually to Service\n\nOklahoma or the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, as applicable, upon\n\nthe registration of the following vehicles:\n\n1. For each taxicab with a seating capacity of ten (10) or less\n\npeople, the license fee shall be Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) and\n\npaid to Service Oklahoma;\n\n2. For each school bus privately owned and used exclusively for\n\ntransporting school children, the fee shall be based on seating\n\ncapacity. For each such school bus with a seating capacity of\n\nfifteen (15) or less people, the fee shall be Twenty Dollars\n\n($20.00). For each such school bus with a seating capacity of more\n\nthan fifteen (15) people, the fee shall be Twenty-five Dollars\n\n($25.00) and paid to Service Oklahoma;\n\n3. For each intercity motor bus, the fee shall be based on\n\nseating capacity and paid to Service Oklahoma, or for those buses\n\nregistered under Section 1120 of this title, paid to the Oklahoma\n\nCorporation Commission. For each intercity motor bus with a seating\n\ncapacity of eleven (11) or less people, the fee shall be Seven\n\nDollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per seat. For each intercity motor\n\nbus with a seating capacity of over eleven (11) but not more than\n\ntwenty-three (23) people, the fee shall be Nine Dollars ($9.00) per\n\nseat. For each intercity motor bus with a seating capacity of more\n\nthan twenty-three (23) people, the fee shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00)\n\nper seat. The seating capacity shall be determined by the number of\n\nseats available for passengers where separate seats are used, or by\n\nallowing sixteen (16) inches of seating space where separate seats\n\nare not used. Provided, that upon all intercity motor buses the\n\nlicense fees provided herein shall after the first year's\n\nregistration in this or any other state be assessed at eighty\n\npercent (80%) of the fee computed and assessed as provided herein;\n\nand thereafter shall be assessed at eighty percent (80%) of the\n\nprevious year's fee so computed for seven (7) successive years, but\n\nin no event shall the fee be thus reduced below Ten Dollars\n\n($10.00). Provided, that Service Oklahoma shall issue intercity\n\nmotor bus registration certificates for motor buses having a seating\n\ncapacity of not exceeding five (5) seats upon application and\n\npayment of necessary fee without further requirements;\n\n4. For each intracity motor bus, the fee shall be based on\n\nseating capacity and paid to Service Oklahoma. For each intracity\n\nmotor bus having a seating capacity of not to exceed eight (8)\n\npeople, the fee shall be Forty Dollars ($40.00). For each intracity\n\nmotor bus having a seating capacity in excess of eight (8) and not\n\nmore than fifteen (15) people, the fee shall be Five Dollars ($5.00)\n\nper seat. For each intracity motor bus having a seating capacity in\n\nexcess of fifteen (15) and not more than twenty-five (25) people,\n\nthe fee shall be Six Dollars ($6.00) per seat. For each intracity\n\nmotor bus having a seating capacity in excess of twenty-five (25)\n\npeople, the fee shall be Seven Dollars ($7.00) per seat. Provided\n\nthat after the first year's registration of any intracity bus in\n\nthis or any other state, the license fee thereon shall be assessed\n\nat eighty percent (80%) of the fee computed and assessed for the\n\nfirst year, and thereafter, the fee shall be assessed and computed\n\nat eighty percent (80%) of the previous year's fee, and shall be so\n\ncomputed and assessed for the next seven (7) consecutive years,\n\nafter the first year; provided further, that the fee shall not be\n\nreduced to less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"110775f609d6a7eb9bab2a4ac7593665b6da389f269e116dce5320bb4a96e0c1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1134","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1134.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
