Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1134.3","heading":"Wrecker or towing vehicles - License plates -","body":"Registration.\n\nA. Each operator of a wrecker or towing service licensed\n\npursuant to Sections 951 through 957 of this title operating a\n\nwrecker, wrecker vehicle, combination wrecker, combination wrecker\n\nvehicle, or any other motor vehicle which:\n\n1. Is required to be registered in this state pursuant to the\n\nOklahoma Vehicle License and Registration Act except for any vehicle\n\nwhich is properly registered on a proportional basis pursuant to\n\nSection 1120 of this title; and\n\n2. Is used primarily for towing other motor vehicles\n\nshall register such vehicle in accordance with this section.\n\nB. Service Oklahoma shall design an appropriate license plate\n\nfor all wrecker vehicles registered pursuant to this section. Such\n\nlicense plates shall be permanent in nature and shall be designed in\n\nsuch manner as to remain with the vehicle for the duration of the\n\nvehicle's life span or until the title is transferred or the vehicle\n\nis no longer used for the purposes specified in Sections 951 through\n\n957 of this title.\n\nC. When registering the vehicle, a person shall be required to\n\nsubmit to Service Oklahoma or a licensed operator a copy of the\n\nlicense issued pursuant to law to operate a wrecker or towing\n\nservice. In addition, a security verification form as required\n\npursuant to Sections 7-601.1 and 7-602 of this title shall be\n\npresented clearly setting forth on the face of such verification the\n\nvehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle being registered.\n\nD. The owner of any wrecker or towing vehicle not properly\n\nregistered pursuant to this section or the Oklahoma Vehicle License\n\nand Registration Act shall be immediately notified in writing by\n\nService Oklahoma, and such owner shall be subject to any penalties\n\nand fines imposed by law for improper registration of a vehicle, for\n\nfailure to register a vehicle, or for failure to display a proper\n\ncommercial license plate and decal. The owner shall also be subject\n\nto revocation of the owner's license to operate a wrecker or towing\n\nservice.\n\nE.
