Except as provided in this section, former military vehicles\n\nshall be exempt from the provisions of the Oklahoma Vehicle License\n\nand Registration Act if:\n\n1. The former military vehicle is used only for exhibitions,\n\nclub activities, parades, and other functions of public interest and\n\nwill not be used for regular transportation; and\n\n2. The owner of the former military vehicle files with Service\n\nOklahoma or a licensed operator a sworn affidavit, signed by the\n\nowner, stating that the vehicle is a former military vehicle and\n\nwill be used solely for the purposes listed in paragraph 1 of this\n\nsubsection.\n\nB. Upon each former military vehicle, the annual license fee\n\nshall be Twenty Dollars ($20.00). Upon initial registration, the\n\nowner shall make application for the flat license fee which\n\napplication shall include the year of manufacture and a description\n\nof the vehicle containing information as may be required by Service\n\nOklahoma, including the information required in paragraphs 1 and 2\n\nof subsection A of this section.\n\nC. A former military vehicle shall not be required to display a\n\nlicense plate if current proof of registration for the vehicle, in a\n\nform prescribed by Service Oklahoma, is carried in the vehicle. In\n\naddition, the vehicle shall display in a prominent location on the\n\nvehicle a registration mark prescribed by Service Oklahoma. Service\n\nOklahoma shall allow the use of a unique identification mark similar\n\nto the mark assigned that vehicle by the branch of the Armed Forces\n\nin which the vehicle was used. If such a mark is not used, Service\n\nOklahoma shall designate a registration mark consisting of numbers,\n\nletters, or numbers and letters in combination at least two (2)\n\ninches in height. To the extent possible, the location and design\n\nof the registration mark shall conform to the official military\n\ndesign and markings of the vehicle.\n\nD. A certificate of title shall be issued for a former military\n\nvehicle, and the applicable fees for the issuance of a certificate\n\nof title as provided pursuant to the Oklahoma Vehicle License and\n\nRegistration Act shall apply.\n\nE. All penalties pursuant to the Oklahoma Vehicle License and\n\nRegistration Act relating to the failure to register a vehicle shall\n\napply to this section if the former military vehicle is not properly\n\nregistered or is used in a manner which violates the provisions of\n\nparagraph 1 or 2 of subsection A of this section.\n\nF.
