Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1141","heading":"Falsely advertising as licensed operator - Penalty","body":"It shall be unlawful for any person to display any sign or to\n\nadvertise in any manner representing to the public that he or she is\n\nan official or authorized licensed operator of the state, or that he\n\nor she has authority to register motor vehicles and issue license\n\nplates therefor, unless such person is a duly licensed and qualified\n\nlicensed operator under the provisions of Section 1140 of this\n\ntitle; and it shall be unlawful for any person to solicit, accept or\n\nreceive any gratuity or compensation for acting as a messenger or\n\nfor acting as the agent or representative of another person in\n\napplying for the registration of a motor vehicle and obtaining the\n\nlicense plate therefor from Service Oklahoma or from any official\n\nand authorized licensed operator, or to advertise, solicit, or in\n\nany manner offer to render such services for hire or compensation\n\nunless the licensed operator has appointed, authorized and approved\n\nsaid person to perform such acts and said person shall furnish to\n\nthe licensed operator of the county in which such service is\n\nperformed a surety bond in such amount as said licensed operator\n\nshall determine to be commensurate with the amount of money which\n\nmay be involved at any one time.\n\nAny person violating the provisions hereof shall be deemed\n\nguilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a\n\nfine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by\n\nimprisonment in the county jail for not exceeding one (1) year, or\n\nboth.
