Medium-speed electrical vehicles shall be registered\n\npursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Vehicle License and\n\nRegistration Act. Service Oklahoma shall promulgate rules for the\n\ntitling and registration of medium-speed electric vehicles.\n\nB. Medium-speed electrical vehicles which have been titled and\n\nregistered pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Vehicle\n\nLicense and Registration Act may be operated on the roadways of this\n\nstate with a posted speed limit of forty-five (45) miles per hour or\n\nless; provided, however, medium-speed electrical vehicles shall not\n\nbe permitted to travel upon any highway in this state which is a\n\npart of the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways and\n\nwhich otherwise meets or exceeds the National Highway Traffic Safety\n\nAdministration regulations set forth in 49 C.F.R. 571.500.\n\nOperators of medium-speed electrical vehicles shall comply with all\n\ntraffic regulations and rules of conduct for the operation of motor\n\nvehicles on the roadways of this state provided by law.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1fb537e955ebcdc3835623645c7d47fa44eaffe55144824af8f7dfa508cff1c7","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1151.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-116.11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
