Every vehicle shall be equipped with at least two stop lamps\n\nwhich shall meet the requirements of this section.\n\nB. The stop lamps required by this section:\n\n1. Shall be mounted on the rear of the vehicle at the same\n\nlevel, as far apart as practicable, and at a height of not more than\n\nseventy-two (72) inches nor less than fifteen (15) inches;\n\n2. Shall display a red or amber light, or any shade of color\n\nbetween red and amber, visible from a distance of not less than five\n\nhundred (500) feet to the rear in normal sunlight; and\n\n3. Shall be actuated upon application of the brakes.\n\nC.
