Whenever a motor vehicle or combination of vehicles is\n\nparked or stopped, whether attended or unattended, upon a roadway or\n\nshoulder adjacent thereto, and there is not sufficient light to\n\nreveal the parked or stopped vehicle to the operator of another\n\nvehicle within a distance of one thousand (1,000) feet upon such\n\nroadway or shoulder, such vehicle so parked or stopped shall display\n\nthe following:\n\n1. At least two lamps displaying a white or amber light visible\n\nfrom a distance of one thousand (1,000) feet to the front of the\n\nvehicle; and\n\n2. At least two lamps displaying a red light visible at a\n\ndistance of one thousand (1,000) feet to the rear of the vehicle.\n\nB. Subsection A of this section shall not apply to:\n\n1. A vehicle parked or stopped on a street or highway with\n\ndesignated on-street parking or with a speed limit of twenty-five\n\n(25) miles per hour or less:\n\na. when the vehicle is positioned as close as practicable\n\nto the outer edge of the roadway or of the shoulder,\n\nif present, or\n\nb. unless the street or highway is posted as a no-parking\n\narea;\n\n2. A vehicle which has lost the ability to display lamps and\n\nthe vehicle is parked or stopped off the roadway;\n\n3. A vehicle which is disabled, unattended, and parked or\n\nstopped off the roadway; or\n\n4. An authorized emergency vehicle of a law enforcement agency,\n\nwhen such vehicle is parked or stopped on the shoulder.\n\nC.
