No fuel tank or intake pipe on any motor vehicle shall\n\nproject beyond the side of the motor vehicle. In no case shall the\n\nfuel tank or fuel intake pipe on any bus be located within or above\n\nthe passenger-carrying portion of the bus.\n\nB.
