The triangular yellow-orange and red slow moving vehicle\n\nemblem which meets the standards and specifications of the American\n\nSociety of Agricultural Engineers, ASAE S276.3, Slow-Moving Vehicle\n\nIdentification Emblem, shall be recognized as the official slow-\n\nmoving vehicle emblem of this state.\n\nB. 1. All farm machinery, other machinery including all road\n\nconstruction and maintenance machinery, and all other vehicles and\n\nanimal-drawn vehicles designed to operate and operating at a maximum\n\nspeed of no more than twenty-five (25) miles per hour traveling on a\n\nhighway during day or night shall display a slow-moving vehicle\n\nemblem on the rear of the vehicle.\n\n2. When such road construction and maintenance machinery is\n\nengaged in actual construction or maintenance work and there is\n\neither a flagman or clearly visible warning signs to warn of such\n\nmachinery's presence on the roadway are exempt from the requirements\n\nof this section.\n\nC. The emblem shall be positioned as near as practicable to the\n\ncenter on the rear of the vehicle or machinery; provided however,\n\nthat in the case of a string of farm machinery or implements being\n\ntowed only one clearly visible emblem must be displayed on the\n\nrearmost vehicle.\n\nD. The use of such emblem shall be in addition to any lighting\n\ndevices or other equipment required by law. The failure on the part\n\nof an owner or driver of any nonmotor vehicle to display the emblem\n\nrequired in this section shall not relieve the operator of a motor\n\nvehicle from negligence in the event of a collision. No person\n\nshall use the slow-moving vehicle emblem except as required in this\n\nsection.\n\nE.
