Stat. tit. 47, § 47-12-601","heading":"Headlamps and other illuminating devices on certain","body":"motorcycles - Definition.\n\nA. Every motorcycle of the model year 1978 or later operating\n\nupon a highway within this state shall display at all times:\n\n1. A lighted headlamp or headlamps; and\n\n2. Any other illuminating devices, if manufactured to be\n\ndisplayed at all times.\n\nThis subsection shall not apply to motorcycles used in official\n\nlaw enforcement capacities.\n\nB. The provisions of subsections A, C and D of Section 12-201\n\nof this title shall apply to motorcycles; provided, however,\n\nnotwithstanding the provisions of subsection E of Section 12-201 of\n\nthis title, a motorcycle may be equipped with a motorcycle headlamp\n\nmodulation system as authorized by 49 C.F.R., Section 571.108,\n\nS7.9.4.\n\nC.
