No person shall transport or move a manufactured home on any\n\npublic road or highway in this state, except as otherwise provided\n\nby law, without a permit issued pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSections 14-103A and 14-103C of this title and subsection B of this\n\nsection, and without a current calendar year decal or current\n\nregistration or a repossession affidavit issued pursuant to Sections\n\n1110 and 1126 of this title.\n\nB. In addition to the permit information required by the\n\nprovisions of Sections 14-103A and 14-103C of this title, the permit\n\nshall also include the following:\n\n1. The name of the owner of the manufactured home;\n\n2. The serial number or identification number of the\n\nmanufactured home;\n\n3. A legal description or the physical address of the location\n\nfrom which the manufactured home is to be moved;\n\n4. A legal description or the physical address of the location\n\nto which the manufactured home is to be moved; and\n\n5. The name of the firm or individual repossessing the\n\nmanufactured home as it appears on the repossession affidavit, if\n\nthe movement is for repossession purposes and the repossession\n\naffidavit is being used in lieu of current license plate and decal,\n\nas provided in subsection E of Section 1113 of this title.\n\nC. Except as otherwise provided by law, the Executive Director\n\nof the Department of Transportation shall not issue a permit to any\n\nperson to transport or move a manufactured home without a current\n\ncalendar year decal or current registration; provided:\n\n1. Upon proof of possession of a dealer or in-transit license\n\nplate, issued by the Oklahoma Tax Commission according to the\n\nprovisions of subsection D of Section 1128 of this title, the\n\nDepartment of Transportation shall issue a permit to the holder of\n\nsuch license;\n\n2. The Executive Director of the Department of Transportation\n\nshall issue a permit to the holder of a perfected security interest\n\nin a manufactured home, or a licensed representative thereof,\n\npursuant to a lawful repossession of the manufactured home, if the\n\nholder or representative is bonded by the state, to move the\n\nmanufactured home to a secure location with a repossession\n\naffidavit; provided, all registration fees, excise taxes or ad\n\nvalorem taxes due on such home shall be required to be paid within\n\nthirty (30) days of the issuance of the permit; and\n\n3. The Executive Director of the Department of Transportation\n\nshall issue a permit to transport or move a manufactured home used\n\nfor commercial purposes during the second through the sixth day of\n\nthe first month of the following calendar year if the applicant can\n\nprovide a special waiver and a commercial move affidavit authorized\n\npursuant to Section 2813 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes. As\n\nused in this paragraph, \"manufactured home used for commercial\n\npurposes\" means a manufactured home owned by any lawfully recognized\n\nbusiness entity the primary purpose of which is to provide temporary\n\nhousing for the employees or contractors of such business entity.\n\nD. For the purposes of subsections A and C of this section, a\n\nmanufactured home registration receipt and Manufactured Home\n\nRegistration Decal attached to a certificate of title for a\n\nmanufactured home or receipts and decal as authorized by subsection\n\nC of Section 1117 of this title shall be evidence of payment of the\n\nexcise tax and registration fees required pursuant to the provisions\n\nof Section 1135 of this title and the Ad Valorem Tax Code.\n\nE. The Department of Transportation shall notify the Oklahoma\n\nTax Commission, the county assessor of the county from which the\n\nmanufactured home is to be moved and the county assessor of the\n\ncounty in which the manufactured home is to be moved of any permits\n\nissued pursuant to the provisions of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9d203aba2f20460d7be6f6851d13bc6b967e448608f51a8a8901c59a57b6ccfd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-14-103c","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-14-103e"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
