A motor vehicle, if operated by an engine fueled wholly or\n\npartially by compressed or liquefied natural gas, may exceed the\n\ngross vehicle weight limits and any axle weight limits by an amount,\n\nnot to exceed a maximum of two thousand (2,000) pounds, that is\n\nequal to the difference between:\n\n1. The weight of the vehicle attributable to the natural gas\n\ntank and fueling system carried by that vehicle; and\n\n2. The weight of a comparable diesel tank and fueling system.\n\nB.
