Stat. tit. 47, § 47-14-116a","heading":"Transportation of manufactured home without permit -","body":"Penalties.\n\nAny person, firm, or corporation who moves or transports any\n\nload or manufactured home without a permit issued by the Department\n\nof Transportation as required by the provisions of this chapter\n\nshall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof\n\nshall be punished as follows:\n\n1. For the first such violation, by a fine of Five Hundred\n\nDollars ($500.00);\n\n2. For the second such violation, by a fine of One Thousand\n\nDollars ($1,000.00); and\n\n3. For the third and subsequent violations, by a fine of not\n\nless than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) nor more than Five\n\nThousand Dollars ($5,000.00).\n\nThe permit shall be carried by the operator of the vehicle\n\nmoving or transporting the load or manufactured home and shall be\n\navailable for inspection by any law enforcement officer. If said\n\noperator is found not to possess a permit, the load or manufactured\n\nhome shall not continue to be moved or transported.
