No person shall operate a special combination vehicle within\n\nthis state without a special combination vehicle permit for the\n\nvehicle issued by the Department of Transportation. Such permit may\n\nbe issued for operation upon Federal Aid Interstate Highways or\n\nfour-lane divided Federal Aid Primary Highways and for access or\n\negress between points of origin or destination.\n\nB. The Executive Director of the Department of Transportation\n\nshall promulgate rules for the issuance of special combination\n\nvehicle permits and shall collect an annual fee of Two Hundred Forty\n\nDollars ($240.00) for each such permit issued. Except as provided\n\nin Section 14-122 of this title, fees collected pursuant to this\n\nsection shall be remitted to the State Treasurer to be credited to\n\nthe General Revenue Fund in the State Treasury.\n\nC. For the purposes of this section, a special combination\n\nvehicle shall consist of a truck-tractor semitrailer combination\n\ntowing two complete trailers or semitrailers.
