Stat. tit. 47, § 47-15-102.1","heading":"Cellular phone usage – State preemption of orders,","body":"ordinances or regulations.\n\nA. The State Legislature hereby occupies and preempts the\n\nentire field of legislation in this state touching in any way\n\ninattentive driving and cellular phone usage in automobiles to the\n\ncomplete exclusion of any order, ordinance or regulation by any\n\nmunicipality or other political subdivision of this state. Any\n\nexisting or future orders, ordinances, or regulations in this field,\n\nexcept as provided for in subsection B of this section, are null and\n\nvoid.\n\nB.
