Stat. tit. 47, § 47-15-106","heading":"Local traffic-control devices","body":"(a) Local authorities in their respective jurisdictions shall\n\nplace and maintain such traffic-control devices upon highways under\n\ntheir jurisdiction as they may deem necessary to indicate and to\n\ncarry out the provisions of this act or local traffic ordinances or\n\nto regulate, warn or guide traffic.
