A state agency that owns or leases vehicles shall affix the\n\nwords \"State of Oklahoma\" and the name of the department or\n\ninstitution that owns or leases the vehicle in conspicuous letters.\n\nB. 1. In lieu of the provisions of subsection A of this\n\nsection, Department of Public Safety vehicles used regularly as\n\npatrol units shall be distinctively painted black or white and shall\n\nbear the wording \"Oklahoma Highway Patrol\" on each side of the\n\nvehicle in letters of such size as to be easily distinguishable, it\n\nbeing the purpose and intention of the Legislature that said patrol\n\nunits shall be marked in the future in the same manner as those now\n\nin use.\n\n2. The Commissioner of Public Safety may designate colors and\n\nmarkings, in lieu of those authorized by the provisions of this\n\nsection, for patrol units used for patrol purposes and for selective\n\ntraffic law enforcement.\n\nC. Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs\n\nControl vehicles for use in undercover investigations and Oklahoma\n\nState Bureau of Investigation vehicles shall not be subject to the\n\nprovisions of this section.\n\nD. Department of Corrections vehicles designated for use by\n\nprobation and parole operations and other administrative operations,\n\nas approved by the Director of the Department of Corrections, shall\n\nnot be subject to the provisions of this section.\n\nE. Vehicles utilized by CLEET-certified officers or state\n\nemployees primarily employed in investigative activities may be\n\nexempt from the provisions of this section subject to the approval\n\nof the State Fleet Manager.\n\nF. Oklahoma Military Department vehicles designated for use by\n\nthe Adjutant General or Assistant Adjutant General in performance of\n\nhis or her duties and Oklahoma Military Department vehicles\n\ndesignated for use in the State Transition and Reintegration System\n\n(STARS) program for tracking youth, as approved by the Adjutant\n\nGeneral, shall not be subject to the provisions of this section.\n\nG. Office of Juvenile Affairs vehicles designated for use of\n\nthe Office by the Executive Director of the Office of Juvenile\n\nAffairs shall not be subject to the provisions of this section.\n\nH.
