Stat. tit. 47, § 47-1703","heading":"Conditions required to operate fully autonomous vehicles","body":"without a human driver.\n\nA. A person, as defined in Section 1701 of Title 47 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, may operate a fully autonomous vehicle on the\n\npublic roads of this state without a human driver provided that the\n\nautomated driving system is engaged and the vehicle meets the\n\nfollowing conditions:\n\n1. If a failure of the automated driving system occurs that\n\nrenders that system unable to perform the entire dynamic driving\n\ntask relevant to its intended operational design domain, the fully\n\nautonomous vehicle will achieve a minimal risk condition;\n\n2. The fully autonomous vehicle is capable of operating in\n\ncompliance with the applicable traffic and motor vehicle safety laws\n\nand regulations of this state, unless an exemption has been granted\n\nby the Department of Public Safety or its designee; and\n\n3. When required by federal law, the vehicle bears the required\n\nmanufacturer's certification label indicating that at the time of\n\nits manufacture it has been certified to be in compliance with all\n\napplicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards including\n\nreference to any exemption granted by the National Highway Traffic\n\nSafety Administration.\n\nB. Prior to operating a fully autonomous vehicle on the public\n\nroads of this state without a human driver, a person shall submit to\n\nthe Department of Public Safety a law enforcement interaction plan\n\nthat contains, but shall not be limited to, information that\n\ndescribes:\n\n1. How to communicate with a fleet support specialist who is\n\navailable during the times the vehicle is in operation;\n\n2. How to safely remove the fully autonomous vehicle from the\n\nroadway;\n\n3. How to recognize whether the fully autonomous vehicle is in\n\nautonomous mode and steps to safely tow the vehicle; and\n\n4. Any additional information the manufacturer or owner deems\n\nnecessary regarding the hazardous conditions or public safety risks\n\nassociated with the operation of the fully autonomous vehicle.\n\nC.
