Stat. tit. 47, § 47-171.1","heading":"Expenditure of Corporation Commission Revolving Funds -","body":"Uses.\n\nIn addition to other uses authorized by law, funds provided to\n\nthe Corporation Commission Revolving Fund pursuant to Sections 165,\n\n177.2 and 180h of this title shall be expended as follows:\n\n1. The Corporation Commission Transportation Division shall\n\nemploy four special motor carrier enforcement officers and one\n\nsupervisor-officer who shall have the primary duty of investigating\n\nand assisting in the prosecution of persons engaged in unauthorized\n\ntransportation or disposal of deleterious substances as contemplated\n\nunder the provisions of the Oklahoma Motor Carrier Act and any other\n\napplicable provisions of law. Such employees shall be compensated\n\nas for similar service in the same or other departments of the state\n\nand an expense allowance of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month\n\nfor maintenance and cleaning of uniforms and other related expenses\n\nshall be paid to such employees. Nothing in this section regarding\n\nexpense allowances shall be construed to mean that such employees\n\nshall receive any additional compensation beyond what is provided\n\nfor maintenance and cleaning of uniforms and other related expenses\n\nby the Corporation Commission on the effective date of this act.\n\n2. The Commission shall purchase a sufficient number of motor\n\nvehicles to provide each motor carrier enforcement officer employed\n\nin the Transportation Division a motor vehicle suitable to carry out\n\nthe enforcement provisions of applicable law. Said vehicles shall\n\nbe appropriately marked as official vehicles and radio equipped.\n\nAll costs for operation, maintenance and replacement of the motor\n\nvehicles authorized in this section shall be provided for from the\n\nCorporation Commission Revolving Fund.\n\n3. The Commission shall employ a hearing officer whose primary\n\nresponsibility shall be the adjudication of enforcement proceedings\n\nand complaints brought against persons engaged in unauthorized\n\ntransportation or disposal of deleterious substances or other\n\nunauthorized transportation in violation of the Oklahoma Motor\n\nCarrier Act or the rules and regulations of motor carriers as\n\npromulgated by the Corporation Commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"939c7a4901a0c3505b2629805ad9124166a4f5890517f8a2671e5682bf781155","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-171","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-171.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
