As used in this section:\n\n1. \"Agent\" means any person charged with the responsibility of\n\nnavigating and operating the personal delivery device, as defined in\n\nthis section. Agent does not mean a person who requests or receives\n\nthe services of a personal delivery device;\n\n2. \"Personal delivery device\" means an electronically powered\n\ndevice:\n\na. primarily operated on sidewalks and crosswalks,\n\nb. intended primarily for the transport of cargo and\n\ngoods on public rights-of-way,\n\nc. whose weight of the device is not greater than five\n\nhundred fifty (550) pounds, not including property\n\nbeing transported, and\n\nd. equipped with automated driving technology, including\n\nsoftware and hardware, that enables the operation of\n\nthe device with remote support and supervision;\n\nPersonal delivery device shall not mean a motor vehicle and shall\n\nnot be classified as such.\n\n3. \"Personal delivery device operator\" means a person or the\n\nperson's agent who monitors or exercises physical control over the\n\nnavigation system and operation of a personal delivery device.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2d77dc25a5124266ebb32d324a2803e5c5d4f68f5b09cdac717b1d9234f3ac70","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-180","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-1801"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
