Stat. tit. 47, § 47-180m","heading":"Enforcement of act","body":"In addition to all other duties as provided by law, it is hereby\n\ndeclared to be, and shall be the duty of all sheriffs, deputy\n\nsheriffs, district attorneys, enforcement officers appointed by the\n\nCorporation Commission of the State of Oklahoma, and all highway\n\npatrolmen within the State of Oklahoma:\n\n1. To enforce the provisions of Sections 180 through 180m of\n\nthis title or the Motor Carrier Act of 1995;\n\n2. To apprehend and detain any motor vehicle or vehicles and\n\ndriver or operator and their aides who are operating any motor\n\nvehicle, upon or along the highways of this state, for a reasonable\n\nlength of time, for the purpose of investigating and determining\n\nwhether such vehicle is being operated in violation of any of the\n\nprovisions of Sections 180 through 180m of this title or the Motor\n\nCarrier Act of 1995;\n\n3. To make arrests for the violation of the provisions of\n\nSections 180 through 180m of this title or the Motor Carrier Act of\n\n1995, without the necessity of procuring a warrant;\n\n4. To sign the necessary complaint and to cause the violator or\n\nviolators to be promptly arraigned before a court of competent\n\njurisdiction for trial;\n\n5. To aid and assist in the prosecution of the violator or\n\nviolators in the name of the State of Oklahoma to the end that this\n\nlaw shall be enforced;\n\n6. To report all such arrests for violations of Sections 180\n\nthrough 180m of this title to the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma\n\nwithin ten (10) days after making such arrest and to furnish such\n\ninformation concerning same as the Commission may request; and\n\n7.
