The Commissioner shall organize the Department of Public\n\nSafety as prescribed by law and in such manner as may be deemed\n\nnecessary and proper to segregate and conduct the work of the\n\nDepartment. The Commissioner shall appoint assistants, deputies,\n\nofficers, investigators and other employees as may be necessary to\n\ncarry out the provisions of this title.\n\nB. Unless otherwise provided by law, salaries and traveling\n\nexpenses of employees of the Department and the cost of equipment\n\nfor the Department shall be paid from the appropriations made to the\n\nDepartment of Public Safety.\n\nC.
