Stat. tit. 47, § 47-2-107","heading":"Traveling expenses of assistants and other employees -","body":"Equipment.\n\nIn addition to the salaries or wages of assistants or other\n\nemployees in the Department of Public Safety when deemed necessary\n\nin connection with the discharge of their duties respectively\n\nassigned or delegated to them, such assistants or employees shall be\n\nallowed and paid traveling expenses incurred in the discharge of\n\ntheir respective duties, in accordance with the provisions of the\n\nState Travel Reimbursement Act, Sections 500.1 through 500.19 of\n\nTitle 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which shall be paid from the same\n\nfund and in the same manner as the payment of all other salaries and\n\nexpenses of the Department; provided, however, when deemed necessary\n\nby the Commissioner of Public Safety, it shall be and he is hereby\n\nauthorized and empowered to purchase motor vehicles and other\n\nequipment for use by said Department. The Commissioner of Public\n\nSafety shall prepare and deliver to the Governor, President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives a current vehicle fleet management and replacement\n\nplan and a complete inventory of all vehicles in use by the\n\nDepartment on the first legislative day of each year.
