In an effort to improve the public safety of all citizens of\n\nthis state, a more uniform and expeditious method of obtaining\n\nownership and registration information of all motor vehicles\n\noperating on the roads and highways of this state is required. Any\n\nmethod developed shall be conducted in accordance with subsection B\n\nof this section.\n\nB. In addition to the powers and duties prescribed by law, the\n\nDirector of Service Oklahoma shall be authorized to direct Service\n\nOklahoma to develop a proposal for an intergovernmental cooperative\n\nagreement pursuant to paragraph 1 of subsection D of Section 1221 of\n\nTitle 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes between Service Oklahoma and all\n\ntribal governments that issue tribal license plates and maintain\n\nownership and registration information.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e752c2f80487adc3d114385f80f7fd353c261a5e45ecad1be5878129d69f8a5b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-108.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-108.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
