Stat. tit. 47, § 47-2-118","heading":"Administration of Division of Highway Patrol","body":"(a) The Commissioner shall require that the Division of Highway\n\nPatrol properly patrol the highways of this state and cooperate with\n\nsheriffs and police officers in enforcing the laws regulating the\n\noperation of vehicles and the use of highways.\n\n(b) The Commissioner may establish a school for the training and\n\neducation of the members of said Division in traffic regulation, the\n\npromotion of traffic safety and enforcement of the laws regulating\n\nthe operation of vehicles and the use of the highways.\n\n(c) All members of said Division when on duty shall be dressed\n\nin distinctive uniform and display a badge of office.","path":["OK Code","Title 47"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os47.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"035c8cf3d6d1f65d7b4ffda2ee5ea651e0c940895a3eacf295a6970408438908","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-117.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-47-47-2-119"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
