There is hereby established in the Department of Public\n\nSafety a Division to be known as the Psychological Services\n\nDivision. The Commissioner of Public Safety is authorized to\n\nappoint a Director of Psychological Services and to employ such\n\nclerical, support personnel and interns on a full-time or part-time\n\nbasis as may be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the\n\nDivision.\n\nB. The Director of Psychological Services shall possess a\n\ndoctorate in psychology, shall be licensed by the State Board of\n\nExaminers of Psychologists and shall have not less than five (5)\n\nyears' experience in law enforcement.\n\nC. Prior to the establishment of any psychology internship\n\nprogram, the Director of Psychological Services shall submit a plan\n\nfor such program to the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists\n\nfor approval.
