Stat. tit. 47, § 47-2-309.2","heading":"Employees of Communications Division and Waterways","body":"Patrol Division of Department of Public Safety - Transfer to System.\n\nEmployees of the Communications Division and Waterways Patrol\n\nDivision of the Department of Public Safety who are members of the\n\nOklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall cease accruing\n\nbenefits in the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System and\n\nshall commence accruing benefits under the Oklahoma Law Enforcement\n\nRetirement System on July 1, 1981. On January 1, 1982, the Oklahoma\n\nPublic Employees Retirement System shall transfer to the Oklahoma\n\nLaw Enforcement Retirement System the actual amount contributed to\n\nthe Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System by the state and by\n\neach Communications Division and Waterways Patrol Division employee\n\ntransferring to the Oklahoma Law Enforcement RetirementSystem and\n\nthe retirement records of those transferring employees. Service\n\naccrued by employees of the Communications Division and Waterways\n\nPatrol Division of the Department of Public Safety under the\n\nOklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall be treated as\n\ncredited service under the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement\n\nSystem.
