Stat. tit. 47, § 47-2-309.4","heading":"Park rangers - Transfer to System","body":"Park rangers of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department\n\nwho are certified peace officers pursuant to the provisions of\n\nSection 3311 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes and who are\n\nmembers of the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall\n\ncease accruing benefits in the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement\n\nSystem and shall commence accruing benefits under the Oklahoma Law\n\nEnforcement Retirement System on July 1, 1985. On January 1, 1986,\n\nthe Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System shall transfer to\n\nthe Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System the actual amount\n\ncontributed to the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System by\n\nthe state and by each park ranger of the Oklahoma Tourism and\n\nRecreation Department transferring to the Oklahoma Law Enforcement\n\nRetirement System and the retirement records of those transferring\n\nemployees. Service accrued by said park rangers of the Oklahoma\n\nTourism and Recreation Department under the Oklahoma Public\n\nEmployees Retirement System shall be treated as credited service\n\nunder the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System.
